Simple Marinara

Recipe

4 cloves garlic
28 oz crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt
pepper
red pepper flakes
a Parmesan cheese rind
extra virgin olive oil

Saute garlic with a large glug of olive oil.

Add crusted tomatoes, salt, and pepper and red pepper to taste. (This might be 1/8 tsp of pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flake.) Toss in the Parmesan rind.

Simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Notes

This can probably be doubled, but would require more time to simmer.
